Ram Madhav, a prominent figure in the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), expressed strong disapproval on Saturday regarding the nuclear threat issued by Pakistan's Army Chief, Asim Munir, towards India. He emphasized that such threats do not instill fear and that India possesses the capability to respond appropriately. This statement from Munir, made during a recent visit to the United States, was met with a stern rebuke from the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, which warned of severe consequences if such rhetoric continues.

Madhav stated in an interview that no one is intimidated by Munir's nuclear threats, asserting that the Prime Minister has provided an appropriate response. He remarked that nuclear blackmail will not deter India, and if necessary, India knows how to act. When asked whether the U.S. indirectly supports such comments, Madhav noted that President Donald Trump is not as predictable as previously thought and is a person focused on significant deals. He advised that India should not react emotionally and should handle situations in a manner similar to how other nations do.
He further commented on the emotional nature of Indians, questioning why they fail to understand Trump's approach. Madhav pointed out that Trump has maintained communication with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, even referring to him as a friend, which has not altered the dynamics between North Korea and the U.S. He suggested that Trump believes he can rectify issues by engaging with 'bad actors'.

Addressing Trump's repeated threats of tariffs and false claims regarding the India-Pakistan ceasefire agreement, Madhav remarked, "Trump is not as straightforward as we once believed. He is a deal-maker, and it is clear that his actions are aimed at strengthening the U.S. economy, which is his primary goal." He recalled how the U.S. collaborated with former Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf during the war in Afghanistan, stating, "While we oppose Munir's actions, the U.S. had previously engaged in similar politics with Musharraf, who was a significant supporter of terrorism. The U.S. has a specific style of ensuring its interests."
